While most manufactuers went down the road of least resistance Nanokote continued to develop PFAS Free coatings in fact all of our coatings are PFAS Free. Here in New Zealand the government is phasing out products that contain PFAS starting with cosmetics from December 2026.
ProGuard Concrete Coatings
ProGuard is a premium, single-coat protective coating developed by Nanokote using advanced organometallic (organic-inorganic hybrid) nanotechnology. It was designed to provide long-term protection for concrete and other construction materials while dramatically reducing application time and maintenance costs.
What makes ProGuard different?
Unlike conventional protective paint systems that typically require:
- A primer
- Two acrylic topcoats
- A separate anti-graffiti clear coat
ProGuard is applied in a single coat, directly onto dry or damp concrete without the need for a primer. This can reduce labour, equipment hire and project downtime by more than 50%
